I wonder if Adam was just goofing around and didn't think it'd be noticed. It looks silly. Just one more reason to love the movie.
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

Yeah! I just got back from seeing RENT for the fifth time! It just gets better everytime I see it! The mark sandwich is the best I love it! How is everyone doing tonight? Any news or discussion that I missed?

I think you missed a whole AIM chat. But they may still be there if you want to check.

haha.
If you have AOL instant messenger, you sign on and then click "chat" on the bottom of your AIM screen. Then, you type "meccaorbust" into the place where it says the name of the chatroom and under "invite", type your own sn.

I dunno I think it was probably the first or second time that it affected me the most...like honestly I was crying at my house after the movie for the rest of the night..I'm a performer so it gets to me even more ya know?

Haha, renthead. Well, it'll be a 3-person monopoly then. So I guess an oligopoly?
And I've actually found that being a performer has hindered my true emotions. I find myself gauging the situation for how I'm supposed to respond and then responding that way, whether or not that's how I really feel.
But maybe that's just me hiding in my work, haha.

Yeah I just think that Rent is one of those shows that is so raw and so real and it makes you think about performing and that you really want to be up there right now singing la vie boheme with them!

"No good deed" made me cry the first few times I heard it because I wished so badly I had chops like that. And a career like Idina's. Minus the whiny fans who call me stuck-up for not standing in below 0 weather to sign 300 autographs which will just be sold on ebay anyway.

And "let's misbehave" from anything goes makes me want to climb all over the nearest guy. Ha, such power these shows have.
