Ya, I was in moby dick the musical at our school. It was a really fun musical with really good songs! I strongly suggest it. www.mobydickthemusical.com
"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."
We did Godspell as well with a female Jesus and Judas. Other shows that don't require lots of males are Oliver, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Annie. I know that my school did Footloose as well (after I graduated)
how about LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (the orginal of course...I'm not sure the revivals rights are out yet...) there are only 3 guy parts...and then 4 girls(urchins and audrey) but u want more girl parts they could always double cast all the girls and that would be 8 heheh. and you only need a small chorus...so even if you had like 2 guys be in the chorus..
"You won't fight without layers of armor
Suit on up and come brace my sword
You look back when the pieces are missing
Hollowed out hope that no time can restore."
