Them myabe Whoopi can move 'Sister Act" there.

"Yes Shrek may not happen now, the producers look to be getting cold feet and believe it may not do as well. It cant have helped that the new film has not done is well as expected."

I thought that maybe they would think it would be successful since "Legally Blonde" as a smash there.

The difference is Legally Blonde is a strong piece of fluff that does not take itself to seriously and knows how to entertain, the critics also 'got it' and praised it. Shrek however was a lumbering mess

Never say never. "Shrek Forever After" is heading for an impressive impressive 27 percent week-to-week drop from its $70.6 million opening, which is around $56 million. It's showing sings that it could hold strong like "How to Train Your Dragon."

I'm dropping the subject after this, but Dreamworks was happy with the opening even though it was lower than anticipated. It was still the fourth biggest opening for an animated movie behind "Shrek the Third," "Shrek 2," and "The Simpsons Movie." They will be even more happy if the movie stays strong in other weekends like "How to Train Your Dargon," which opened with a weak $43.7 million and went on to gross $211 million.

Beautiywickedlover, your making it sound like there are Broadway shows that NEED to go over to London. When one show idea gets shot down for not being a good idea for whatever reason, you go on to find another one and so on and so forth. As it is right now some great Broadway shows have come to London in recent years and have bombed. I think Songanddanceman is right, that it is time for The West End to sort itself out.
