West End Hairspray????

Does anyone know what has happened to the west end production of Hairspray, i heard it was on its way a long time ago and was even heard about audition dates etc, but it seems to have dissapeared, can anyone enlighten me??? Thanx

well, if they are still doing it, they probably won't get started until the VEGAS production of the show has gotten started.
