Each theatre is different, but most of them have student/rush tickets an hour or so before the show at about 15-20 pounds for the most expensive seats. I saw 31 shows over the past summer there, and used my student ID for about 25 of them. There were ALWAYS tickets available for every show I went to.

I've seen quite a few shows in the west end and I've only not been able to get student tickets to one which was mamma mia. Generally they go on sale 1-2 hrs before curtain and can range from 10-20 quid. I would suggest you ring the theatre for the show that you are interested in.

Posted: 3/18/07 at 5:39amthe ONLY thing they questioned me about was that there was no expiration date on my London Student ID....there isn't one on my American student ID either. Though, they may have questioned it at a few theatres, there ended up being no problems.
