Hi... I just posted the following on the West End board, but I thought perhaps some of you may have the answer as well:
Having seen some 50 shows on Broadway the past several years, I'm headed to London for a few days starting this weekend.
I know that there is a discount ticket booth like our TKTS in New York, but I'm wondering if there are also codes that you can take directly to the box office for discounts - - such as those we find for Broadway on the Broadway Box website?
I would be so appreciative if a fellow theater lover in London would let me know. I honestly don't want to spend any of my limited time in London waiting in a long discount ticket line. I'll pay full price if necessary, but if there are discounts available without lines, you'd make my day.
Thank you!

www.tkts.co.uk you can see what is on sale at the moment on the official half price booth. There are never usually long lines - it is not like NY Tkts where you can stand for hours !!!
There are sadly not any discount code except very very occasionally.. like there is a METRO offer on Jerry Springer at the moment.. top seats reduced to £25.
However there are lots of internet offers.. what do you want to see ?? I can tell you where to get 50% of nearly every show !!
Thanks for your help. I'm thinking right now of seeing Anything Goes and Bombay Dreams (which I haven't yet seen on Broadway, but will soon). If you could tell me where on the Internet to go to find discounts for those shows, or any of them, I'd be most appreciative. :)
Here is a website that i found quite useful in my wanderings of the London theatre district...see if this works for you there is a TKTS London link on here too...
