I actually saw Natalie Cortez as Maria in the Mill Mountain production of WSS years ago (my best friend was Tony). She was magnificent and her I FEEL PRETTY was a revelation.

Julian2 is correct, there is a big 50th Anniversary production emanating from the North Carolina School for the Arts that will later play Ravinia.

Gerald Freedman, Robbins' assistant on the original productions (and who has mounted productions of it around the world since, including getting co-directing credit on the Debbie Allen revival) will direct (he is deab of the school of drama at NCSA) with John Mauceri handling the musical direction.
