What "Pop" performer would do well on Broadway?- Page 2

Most of my fave pop voices I'm not sure how they'd handle the acting. I think Donna Summer still has one of the best live voices around, and she loves musicals (she made her break in European tours of Godsepll, Hair and Show Boat--you can hear her on the German Hair recording). But her acting isn't brilliant (granted her two biggest filmed roles are in the hilarious disco dud Thank God it's Friday in a nothing role, and as over the top Aunt Oona on the awful sitcom Family Matters). God bless her, she's been working on her auobiographical stage musical Ordinary Girl for several decades now...
