Going to NY this summer...seeing three musicals and a play. What play should I see (never seen a Bway PLAY)...Doubt, maybe?

Also, I think we are seeing DRS AND Spamalot...is two slapstick tounge n cheek musicals one too many??

On Golden Pond looks phenomenal!!!

it does! I would also see, "...streetcar..." with people like John C. Riley and Natasha Richardson, it should be amazing!

i would see doubt or 12 angry men. i would never see spamalot. spelling bee, piazza, dessa rose (depending on when you're going). little women. they're all worth it over spamalot.

I would recommend "THE PILLOWMAN", hands down. It's like nothing else on Broadway and it will certainly stay with you for a long time after you see it -- truly an incredible production.

i also have no desire to see spamalot and i have no idea how it could be so sold out until like next year and the tickets reselling for so much...

The Pillowman, no question. Doubt may have won the Pulitzer, but The Pillowman is what people are going to be talking about this season.

I haven't seen Pillowman yet but I'll give a nod to Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf...plus, it's 3 hours...that's alot of bang for your buck. :)

If you only have time for one play - yes DOUBT should be your choice. ON GOLDEN POND is also highly recomended.
