Gee, Neno, have you ever had anything positive t osay..about anything?! Al lthat negativity isn't very flattering.
And yes, RENT is damn near ledgendar ystatus and will absolutely be remembered 50 years from now. I don't think it will be such a period peice that future generations won't understand or relate to some things in the show, but it will serve as a reminder of the strange period in history that was known as the 90's =)
I'd like to think Hairspray will be around too, because it's HAPPY!!
I hope to God Annie would die and not be remembered, but i'm pretty sure it will still be performed in the future.

Posted: 1/5/04 at 6:23pmI agree. I'd rather it stay on middle school stages and nowhere else. Hey, I'd love it to be gone from EVERY stage, but you have to admit, it is a good show for kids. But if I have to hear 'Tomorrow' or anything like that one more time, I'm going to SNAP.

Filled with delicious little brats and their forceful mommies!
I'll admit, yes, I did do Annie in my middle school days, but even then I thought it was annoying. And it was probably worse for me because all the orphans were in a key of their own.

Yes, we did Annie last year, I was in the pit band, and now every time I hear one of the songs playing, I twitch involuntarily and tend to scream. But beggers can't be choosers, right?
