What Would Be Good Roles for Brittain Ashford

I was just thinking of Brittain Ashford and how she has such a lovely, unique voice and was such a scene stealer in Great Comet. Id love to see more of her, but Im kind of struggling to think of what roles she could be a good fit for in the future. Any ideas?

I always thought she'd make a terrific Carole King in Beautiful.

I don't think it fits exactly from her Great Comet role or her voice type, but she is an actress with a very unique and strong perspective, and I would love to see her take on some traditional roles like Ilona (She Loves Me), Fantine/Eponine, Margaret (Carrie - this one I'd pay big bucks to watch). Maybe Helen in Fun Home (although I really find it hard to imagine a non-soprano voice in that part).

“Girl” in Once would be pretty perfect for her.
