Hello. I just had a thought. I've wondered sometimes what would happen if Miss Patti just happened to be in the same room with her nemesis Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber or even worse..... the actress known as Cruella De Ville? I imagine the room temperature going down 20 degrees, with onlookers anticipating some high drama.
Sometimes, when I have the (rare) occasion to see a "Celebrity Death Match" on cable, I wonder what it would be like with Miss LuPone and "the actress known as Cruella De Ville." My thinking is that Patti would wipe the floor with G.C. Just an odd idea.

Think Patti would care less
if Weber and Glenn happen to
be in the same room with her.
She's been very open about Sweeney
being her most treasured experience
of her stage career. So I would
imagine she's way over Sunset Blvd.
and all the associated drama.
Oh...Patti was the best Norma Desmond.
Betty Buckley in close 2nd place. The
only Sunset cast recording I have is
with Patti. Such heart and emotion in
her Norma.
