This show rocks !!!! Just got back from the matinee, and I am in love with this show. Definite Tony nom for Norbert, and would love him to win for this !!! His comic timing is absolutely impeccable !!!
Was not sure how I would feel about this show, cause I dont consider myself the biggest Lithgow fan. Have to say that he is PERFECT in this role !! His acting, singing, and yes... dancing, are excellent !!!
Sherie Rene Scott... can she do ANYTHING wrong !!!??? Wonderful, as always..
Joanna Gleason was very good (dont have the raves for her that I have read on a few other threads), but she was very good. She forgot a few of her lines, and didnt seem as enthused as the others, but still very good. Gregory Jbara is also fantastic !!!
The sets were perfect for the mood, and the costumes and choreography are also great !!!
Cant wait for the Cast Album ! The lyrics are deliciously clever, and the music infectious !!! If there is one negative that I could have is the length.. a bit too long, but plenty of time to tighten up a bit. Trust me, the show does not need much work at all before it opens, to what I am sure will be raves. The audience was howling most of the show.
