Ditto here. This Red Sox fan says "you're welcome" to all NYY fans because our Manager gave ya'll the win. Pedro should have not come back for the 8th leaving the game, instead, in the hands of Timilin and Williamson who have been untouchable all postseason. Go Marlins!!! I love NY!!!

I was at a rehearsal and right outside the studio we were in, there's a lounge with a TV and people kept running out in the middle of dances to check the score and they'd run back in screaming the score. It was a good time because I'm a Boston gal and they're all Red Sox fans but I'm a Yankees fan...when I left rehearsal it was 4-1 and then magically when I got home after an hour drive, the game was tied and I was an excited girl! YAY BASEBALL.

My mailman at work is a die hard Yanks fan and he knows how much I "love" them....he he he...anyway...I had a nice sign taped to desk that said, "GO FISH"!!!

Me and three of my friends are the only Yankees fans at my Massachusetts school. (Our town boarders NY, but it's not acceptable to root for a non-state team. Sheesh...I could walk to New York in 10 minutes!)

What about them Yankees? Them Yankees have more class in Mariano Rivera's little finger than the Sox do in their entire team- that's why we WIN year after year... and when we lose, we don't blame everyone else on the planet including a man who's been dead for 60 years.

The Yankees are the greatest sports franchise in the history of the world. Why don't you people get over it and stop blaming us for the fact that you find a way to lose every year. And go sell your t-shirts on Canal Street (that's in New York, like all the theaters we discuss on this site)...

If Boston is so great, why aren't we on a 'Bostonworld.com' site? I'll never understand why the fact that the Yankees out-class and just plain beat the competition almost every year is a reason to hate them. I mean, who paints a World Series logo on the field before the start of Game 7 in the ALCS? Hating the Yankees because they win is just childish. Sorry folks, but I live on the border of the Red Sox Abomi-Nation, and I have to deal with this idiocy every day.

But if we're going to be childish, I'll do my part.

Question- Besides Ted Williams' head, what do the Red Sox keep on ice?
