I was looking at tickets for Fish in the Dark and it said instead of Orchestra, transfer seats seats 22 and 24 row M. What does that mean?
seats into which a wheelchair user can be transferred.
Not sure about this specific case, but sometimes a transfer seat refers to a seat on the aisle that is designated as accessible for someone in a wheelchair to transfer into it (for example, the outside armrest might lower to allow someone to be slid in from the side).
Edit: we were posting at the same time.

We have them in my theater also. Basically the arm rest is detachable and makes it easier for someone to sidle directly into the seat. This is a plus over removable wheechair locations where you basically lose a few seating locations to make one spot as several seats have to be taken out to accommodate the wheelchair itself and a turning radius.
