Good morning ~FF~,
It sounds like there are some great ideas for you on this thread. If you are still unsure, a few more thoughts are below.
Does he like gadgets? Does he have an iPod? Perhaps a shuffle or nano would be feasible (students at many different universities can get discounts on Apple products through the universities' websites). You can also download a few meaningful songs to the iPod or mp3 device to make it more special. Another idea is a Nintendo DS or PS2 (not sure how much they go for now, but with the tickets he bought you, it would probably be OK to spend $100-$200 since you really care about him and he sounds wonderful).
Has he had his eye on any specific clothing brands? What about cologne? A plane ticket to visit you over break? A day at an amusement park near you? Any professional wrestling shows coming to your area that you could get tickets for?
