There have been a few threads about bad artwork, and I searched for some on good Broadway show artwork, but I couldn't find any. So, what shows (in your opinion)have good artwork/design? Does matter when the production happened.

ETA: I fail at searching, once again, still please answer if you like. Updated On: 1/1/10 at 08:31 PM

Grey Gardens had gorgeous artwork.

Lincoln Center Theatre and Encores have consistently good artwork, in my opinion.

since Jordan posted the gorgeous OBC Follies artwork, here's the art from the Encores production, which was a nice homage:

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

My favorite has always been "Les Miserables".
But I consider these as very effective and good artwork:
Wicked
Phantom of the Opera
Civil War
Camelot (the Michael York pictured one)
The Scarlet Pimpernel
And I am considering Ragtime as actually a good one, too.
No time to name some other for now...

I love the Parade artwork, I think it's gorgeous. I also loved the Broadway Grey Gardens artwork. Updated On: 1/2/10 at 07:50 AM

I love all the Lincoln Center Artwork!

But then again I'm not very critical of artwork like others on here... Updated On: 1/2/10 at 10:11 AM
