What happened to the musical she was working on? I think Regina Spektor would write a beautiful musical. I assume it's very dead but I know there a couple of readings. Any info?

Not that there was much doubt, but if anyone's still interested, this is indeed dead. It seems Regina Spektor decided that she wanted more creative control than such a project would have allowed. In this interview she does express a vague interest in doing a movie musical someday "if I ever have a story that I have to tell in a musical", which may be never of course. Oh well.
