Anyone who thinks this is an over-abundance of Wicked threads must not have been on this board at this time last year. The Wicked threads are practically scarce now by comparison. Personally, I found the Brooklyn threads way more annoying than the Wicked threads. Who cares how many Wicked threads there are? If you want other topics, start them! Anyone who complains about the lack of variety of subjects on the board should contribute new subjects themselves. Makes sense, no?

Yeah, the BKLYN posts are more annoying - at leats Wicked is a decent show!

I actually like Wicked, but not really a fan of it. Does that make sense? I listen to my cast recording on a somewhat regular basis and I think it is neat how it ties into Wizard of Oz but like some says, it is not really WICKED that people obsses over, it is Idina (Will always be Maureen in my heart 
)and Kristen. That can get annoying sometimes, but all I have to do is just not click on the thread so all remains good in the world.

I agree!
But I do like Wicked - I think it's a great story and a great show. It's good, clean, fun entertainment - that's all. If you want a touching story go see Golda's Balcony - another amazing show (closing soon to go on tour!).

I like Idina (did I mention she will always be Maureen in my heart? ), but it does get a wee bit annoying when people start numerous threads about the same subject. I am a HUGE RENT and POTO fan but I don't want every thread to be about them. Ya know?

Actually, right now, out of the first 50 threads on the first page, only two are about Wicked and one about the Wizard of Oz. Doesn't hardly seem as obsessive or dominating as people make it out to be.

Um, I am not complaining about the amount of Wicked threads. I posted out of curiousity of what the fascination of this show is. Incidentally, I talked to a friend last night who was in NYC last weekend. He too said it was the best show he'd ever seen. Gosh, I wish I could see it.
And to the person who said it's not easy to avoid threads you don't want to read - um....ok! //!

Loge - You won't know what's WITH WICKED until you've gone and sat center stage to experience it. I am STILL humming the songs 6 months later, have seen it twice and am going again Jan 9.

Wicked is this board's biggest can of worms because of the timing of the board's inception as well as the age group of many of the posters here.
I'll leave it at that.
And hon, I wasn't bitching about the number of Wicked threads. If I'm bitching, you'll know it. Besides, the number of threads about That Show has gone way down since a few months ago. That's why I thought the search might be useful to you- just look at how many results even a subject search for "wicked" turns up.

its not nice to bash actors until youve seen them live. if youve seen them and still dislike them thats your opinion. Dont bash kristin.
