Treasure Island is SUPPOSEDLY going into the Belasco

The Cort is in the most unfortunate location. When was the last time that theatre housed a hit?

Don't know a thing about the fate of Treasure Island, but it doesn't have the Belasco.

The Cort had two hits in 1998: The Blue Room and Freak. Before that, the excellent revival of The Heiress in 1995. It's been a while, but it's a good house that gets lousy shows, because of its location and that unfortunate second balcony. It also needs a more visible marquee: you can barely see the theatre from Seventh Avenue.
