Posted: 12/28/09 at 10:57amMy pleasure. The play itself was "ok". Definitely not a "star vehicle" for someone like Gyllenhaal to bring to Broadway. Even at it's earliest readings big stars were wanted for it and sitting at these readings I could never figure out why exactly THIS play was so sought after for A-Listers.

Posted: 12/28/09 at 2:30pmI remember being in high school when there was someone from Danity Kane in Hairspray as amber. One of the administrative people at my school and his boyfriend love them. So, they up and got a ticket without realizing that which they were seeing and only after they impulsively bought the ticket did they look into the show that they were about to see.
