What kinda shape is Chicago in?

I might be going this Saturday and was wondering how the show is.

Hows the cast?
Hows everything basically?

I've seen it several times this year. It's in great shape. The ensemble is energetic, and the leads sound great and have fun with the roles. Just don't go in there thinkin about how its been there for 11 years so it must be tired, because then you will think that no matter how good it is.
One of the cool parts is how the conductor gets everybody to stay in their seats clapping in unison as they finish playing after the show.

Personally when I saw it less than a month ago, I found it tired. No one seemed to have any energy. I think there have been some cast changes since I saw it, so maybe the tired ones are gone...but I'm not wasting my money again.

I saw the show last month and it was fantastic. Great energy, and just a terrific way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

I've heard the show is somewhat tired, but I never hear anything but good about Bianca Marroquin, who is currently Roxie. I'm not familiar with the rest of the cast right now, but I have seen Bianca in the past and agree with the majority, she is fabulous. Please let us know what you think after you see it!

Changinandhow, whoever told you that the show is "tired," isn't telling you the truth. Like I said on my earlier post, I saw the show again last month and it was wonderful! Bianca was fantastic! Everyone was top notch.

When I first saw the show I was expecting the movie version of it. It's a little different. But if your going to go see it go before Bianca Marroquin (Roxy) leaves she is great in it. She has to be the best thing in the whole show.
