What part would you be horrible in?

Ha. Here's a question for all of you, inspired by me being really bored at work this morning - What part, that you could feasibly play, would you be wretched in?

Personally, Mother in Ragtime. I would be horrible in that role. Horrid.

Have fun.
There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.

i think i would always be cast as Sandy rather than Rizzo...but i LOVE Rizzo! re: What part would you be horrible in?

ha! and i always wanted to be Annie...but i'm just a TAD bit old for that now! re: What part would you be horrible in?

Peggy Sawyer in 42nd St. not a good tapper
Christine in POTO, everyone would leave the theatre if I tried to hit that high E lol

Bombalurina in Cats... or any role in Cats, for that matter. As much as I'd love it, I can't dance at all.
So let the party and the sounds rock on, I'm gonna shake it till the life has gone, gone, gone - rose tints my world and keeps me safe from my trouble and pain!

Any part in Take Me Out other than the accountant.
The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.

boq in wicked
billy in 42nd street
amos hart in chicago
bialystock in the producers
the ironic thing- i sing all 4 parts fairly regularly, just with the exception of billy i don't "look the part" for the other 3

To be honest, if we are going by looks alone......the only part I could play is possibly Amos in CHICAGO!!

re: What part would you be horrible in?

re: What part would you be horrible in?

I would be horrendous as:

The Phantom in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
Carlotta Giudicelli in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
Glinda in WICKED
Mufasa in THE LION KING

Except for me obviously being a male, I could pull of Christine Daaé in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Except for the high E at the end of the title song. It's too high out of my falsetto. But I can sing everything else of hers!

re: What part would you be horrible in?

I reckon I would be a fantastically bad Meg in Phantom. Judging by all the Megs I have seen, I just couldn't sing that out of tune...

I got you. Yeah, I got you on camera - you on candid camera now... An' you ain't know that...

I would be a terrible Angel in Rent yet I find I'd be a good Albin in La Cage. I also can't play Trevor in Millie (Though I like Jimmy more anyway) my voice isnt ever going to be powerful enough

re: What part would you be horrible in?

Anything to high. I'm not a soprano. But give me an alto, tenor, or even baritone/bass part, and I'm there.

re: What part would you be horrible in?

Anything that requires a mixing voice - I have no shot!

And Peggy, anything in 42nd Street. No chance...Anything that requires an ounce of talent, count me out.

re: What part would you be horrible in?

Anything that involves too much dancing (I'm working on it though)
Or anything where I would have to sing soprano.
I can sing a pretty good alto though (or baritone for that matter)
