Anyone know what show is going into the Booth Theatre after Thurgood closes on July 20th?

I don't know what is going into the Booth next, but Thurgood is closing on August 3rd. It pushed forward a few weeks when The Seafarer altered the closing date to March 30th.

GODSPELL, most likely.

Godspell at the Booth? That seems...awkward.

... Godspell in the Booth?

After seeing the Seafarer there I can't imagine Godspell there.

I would assume either "All My Sons" with John Lithgow and Dianne Weist or "Me, Myself, and I," the new Albee play with Tyne Daly and Brian Murry that Liz McCann is producing in the Fall.

Oh, I didn't know Albee's new play was confirmed for Broadway. That's wonderful!

I don't know if it's "official," but Harry Haun does mention it in his new Playbill.com interview with Albee that it'll be around in the fall.

Wasn't the first time I'd heard that, either.

I'm so glad that Tyne Daly has really decided to focus her career solely on theatre now that her last TV show has ended. She is a marvelous force on the stage and a true asset to the community.

Brantley's review in New Jersey was a rave for the production, but especially for her, as I recall.

the Producers of GODSPELL are looking to book either the Barrymore or the Booth. That's why previews have been pushed back to August (original first preview date was July 15th).

Which theatre opens up first?

November doesn't technically have a closing date, but they are advertising Nathan Lane's last day as July 13th. I'd assume unless they get a huge name replacement the show would be closing, so the Barrymore would be dark first.
