I wonder if it has anything to do with the Ford show she did a while back and now doing it in nyc....?

I highly doubt it'll be anything personal like marriage, pregnancy, etc...why would she have to keep that secret, and why would it be in the NYT?

for some reason I feel like she is going to be on Glee. that was my first thought.
the rock of ages movie could be true as well, considering adam shankman...THOUGH idk who she'd play aside from...as someone said, justice..haha!

Regina? I haven't seen the show, so I don't know if she can.
I am willing to bet it has something to do with a movie, TV show or some concerts.
I hear she's the Albin/Zsa Zsa standby is the La Cage revival.
Maybe it's that he really was born Shomar Bean. That would be big news.
Oh, and this is for everyone: here we call her just "Sho". Like "Sho, Fido, sho". Like that.

I HOPE the "big announcement" isn't this one night only concert BWW just announced. WTF?
"if she had been preggers for three months it would be noticeable and can you picture a three month pregnant chick wearing the skimpy costumes in Peep Show? "
Who are you? How old are you? My wife showed absolutely no obvious signs (to others) of being pregnant at 3 months. I hope you were joking.
"I highly doubt it'll be anything personal like marriage, pregnancy, etc...why would she have to keep that secret"
Couples may delay an announcement usually for the first three months because that is when the fetus is most vulnerable to either miscarriages or other undiscovered defects. You don't want to jump the gun on announcing. My wife and I waited three months. Nothing wrong with that.
Do they not teach the whole MIRACLE OF LIFE stuff in schools anymore? Oy.
She said it would be in the NY Times, so did anyone check this morning?
There is a video of the news on her facebook fan page. The big news is that she is doing a one night only gig in november at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Zzzzzzzzz
It is great that she is doing it, but it isn't exactly the BIG news she made it out to be.

I am sorry, but that is pretty boring news.
What'd you honestly expect? Seriously... Many of you have such high expectations with these kind of things.
It's called marketing.
MusicSnob1, have you seen the Shoshana fanbase? She didn't need to market the concert the way she did as big news. All she would have had to do was advertise it pretty well and it still would sell. There are a lot of Shoshana fans in NY and she hasn't done much in NYC as of late, so because of that, that would help sell tickets.

And yet...
"she hasn't done much in NYC as of late"
You just did the work for me. ^^^ That is the reasons her team marketed it the way they did.
Don't get all upset because she created such a fantastic buzz about it. Clearly, it worked.

Well, it worked in the sense that we all know about it. But, all that matters is if people show up.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that her fanbase is large enough to sell this... along with other music/theatre/jazz fans.
But the way they went about it was perfect. They got ya'll talking about - which is a good start. Kudos to her PR team.
