He will always be SO huge internationally. If his Vegas show is any indication, international tourists will flock to this production.
Cannot WAIT.

Given the specific time period given in the book I think that probably indicates what songs will be in the show.
Just curious how the songs fit the story or if it will be more of a concert type thing with stories.

This is being done with his Estate so rights/ permission shouldn't be an issue.
I don't know if you have seen Cirque MJ One - another MJ Estate partnership show. It has a lot of new elements (acrobatics, aerial, new choreography etc.) as expected from a Cirque show but they also do all of the well known Michael Jackson choreography.. If anything, I'll expect the Broadway show to be closer to the original choreography.
Note: Here is an example from Cirque MJ One Smooth Criminal. You see the Cirque performers doing their thing and the dancers doing the original Smooth Criminal choreography.

You don’t get Wheeldon to choreograph this to only restate old MJ routines.
I’m sure some signature moves will be worked into his choreography, but I’d expect this to be 98% original work.
I didn’t like An American in Paris at all, but he’s hugely successful and in great demand, so this should be worth seeing. (For those who aren’t demanding it’s cancellation of course!)
