I saw the original production twice. The music is lovely. The show is a lark. Melissa Errico was luminous and Malcolm Gets was just right. The show didn't find an audience, which is a shame. I'm surprised more regional and community theaters don't do it, given that it checks a lot of desirable boxes.

If anyone's interested, I got the rights for the Chicago premiere of the show. I'm pretty excited by how it turned out- we just got some photos posted on BroadwayWorld today:
