What should I see this summer?- Page 2

We will be there June 14th and leaving on june 20th. So it doesn't look like I'll be able to see Hamilton. Didn't realize it wasn't playing right now.

Hamilton is playing right now at the Public, but it closes in May and will then prepare for the Broadway run.

Ah, that's why I was confused. Thanks, tallguy. I will definitely put On The Twentieth century on the list instead of Hamilton. After just reading Brantley's rave for Cheno, I can't miss it.

If a show that tells its story through dance works for you, you've GOT to see AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. I know it's not getting raves on this board, but we were swept away, especially by the first act. Most gorgeous design and most emotional experience we've had on Broadway since last September. (That's when we fell in love with ON THE TOWN and CURIOUS INCIDENT.)

I'll admit, the bad reviews for AAIP on here sort of prompted me to take It off the list. I'm not a big fan of the film (I find it highly overrated and how it won the Oscar over STREETCAR, I'll never know) but I do love dancing shows. However I don't like shows with no plot and I am led to believe AAIP really has no plot. But we'll see.
