I have Frozen and Cursed Child on my radar. But Is there anything next season like Fun Home. I am looking for a mixture of critically acclaimed and fun musicals this trip. I know the season is far from over. But what shows have the most critical acclaim buzz and what shows have the fun buzz. I do not really want to wait for the critics.

ps. I would not have chosen Fun Home without this reading this board nor without it being so well reviewed on this site. I must say everyone was right on the money

The Band's Visit is coming very highly reccommended.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Just to hijack this thread for a moment - I would never have picked  "Great Comet" or "Hello Dolly" with Donna Murphy if it wasn't for the comments on this board, either. Thank You all! I'm so glad everyone shares their opinions and reviews here - even on seating.

Echoing Dramamama here; go see The Band's visit. It received significant critical acclaim, but was also enjoyed by the public, including many members here. I found it to be smart and well thought out, with great performances by the entire cast. It, like Come From Away, addresses the common unifying features of humanity.
