(but if you mean what I think you mean....it's a horrid idea. Let the show close with dignity. I was horrified by Streeps singing in MM and by the movie in general. I'd love to see her on stage...but not in a musical.)

You do know I said try to sing 30 plus songs does indicate I don't think she would have even the slightest chance of even doing it without fainting . I think it would be funny

Meryl, if I recall correctly, is actually classically trained. She has a pleasant voice that didn't really fit ABBA well. I think in the right show she could be very spectacular (Hello, Dolly! for example).

Wasn't she the lead in Alice at the Palace? That may not have been a musical- I can't recall, but I also seem to recall her being in the original The Frogs chorus.

Of course, I may be dreaming.
