Been away from Broadway for a couple of years now due to geography and work, but I'll be visiting NYC in a few weeks with enough time to see some shows. What's the best thing out there right now and why?

Next To Normal definately. Even if you're more of a traditional musical theatre like I was, and like tons of N2N fans that I know you will still love it.
I know that there are a lot of people that will disagree but I enjoyed Memphis. It's a lot like Hairspray, and its predictable and cheesy at moments but I liked it.
