Hi, I'm going to New York in a couple of months and cannot decide what shows to see. Any suggestions????

You need to give us a little more than that to go by:
What are you considering?
What have you seen that you loved?
What have you seen that you hated?
Musicals or plays?
Does it HAVE to be ON B'way?
Be aware that you will NOT find any sort of consensus...for every show that is loved by 10 people, there are another 12 that hate it.
My favorite currently running MUSICALS:
South Pacific
Hair
Next to Normal
New this season:
AMERICAN IDIOT
LA CAGE AUX FOLLES
LEND ME A TENOR
From seasons past:
BILLY ELLIOT
NEXT TO NORMAL
SOUTH PACIFIC

Do not miss Next To Normal. Whether you're into contemperary or more classical musicals you will love it. I used to be a 100% traditional musical theatre person, and Next To Normal totally opened me up to something different. I would also suggest South Pacific though, since it's closing.

Hi, I'm open to seeing any musicals on or off broadway. I love the usual stuff, Wicked, Legally Blonde etc. I'd rather see something that I can't see in London.

Thanks. I friend of mine suggested that too. Just had a look at some videos on youtube and it looks great. Very different.
