Worst: (in my opinion... *ducks and covers*) Little Women and Brooklyn (from what i've seen)
I don't really have a worst...

Well, this will be based on what I've seen, not word of mouth.

Kevo711, I would say Good Vibrations is better than Brooklyn, but not by much

Id have to say Brooklyn (which i actually enjoyed)...It is original and idk..has a cute story? Although the music is quite corny at times, the actors always make it sound good
Best: Doubt, Twelve Angry Men, Spelling Bee (when it opens)
Worst: Based on the CR, Brooklyn
Answering the BROOKLYN/GV question, GOOD VIBES is worse, but not by much.
There is no best and no worst.
My favorite show on Broadway is Avenue Q.
Special mention "Vampire Lesbians of Sodom" My favorite theater event this season. Brava, Charles Busch and Marc Shaiman for making me laugh so hard and pull a muscle. I pulled a muscle from laughing. Seth too!
Also love:
Hairspray
Dessa Rose
Fiddler
Piazza for the performances
Forbidden Broadway

From what I have seen
Best: Q
Worst: Little Women
thanks for the answers!
broadwaystar2b- I'm surprised that you thought Little Women was the worst (i havent heard THAT bad of things about it). Just curious, what other shows have you seen?

I saw Little Women with my grandmother a few weekends ago...it wasn't good, but I didn't think it was awful. Honestly I think I'd be entertained hearing Sutton Foster recite the ABC's for 2 hours. I think the show to me, is very similar to every other medium of Little Women-I've read the book, seen the movie etc. and you get a little bit of a warm and fuzzy feeling, but you wouldn't want to sit through the book/movie/play just to get it again...just my opinion though!
WORST: RENT
BEST: WICKED
You're joking right? Don't you LOVE rent?
Kevo, despite my current location, I have seen several of the shows currently running on Broadway:
Avenue Q
Beauty and the Beast
Brooklyn
Chicago
Hairspray
The Lion King
Little Women
Mamma Mia
Movin Out
Rent
POTO
The Producers
Wicked
My main issue with Little Women was that I had extremely high expectations because I am a such huge fan of the novel. I thought the general adaption was weak (both book & score) and the only performances I really enjoyed were those of Sutton Foster and Maureen McGovern.
Now Little Women is NOT the worst Broadway show I have ever seen (the top 3 on my list have already closed) but it is not the best and I would only recommend it to others if they were fans of the aforementioned leading ladies.

Are we talking best show as in the actual show? Or best show with its current cast?
If its the former, I would go with Rent. Although Wicked is amazing, one of my favorite shows, its not brilliant as Rent is. If its the latter, I'm going to go with DRS, althought I really enjoyed the cast of Spamalot. Worst I cant really say, I havent seen anything I really disliked, but from what I have heard Good Vibrations isnt so hot and that ASU is a tad better.
