Its just that simple hope as theatre (and musical theatre lover's in particular) that shows we care about will find and audience and be successful.
There won't be a need for RAGTIME to transfer. One year on Broadway will be plenty enough for its return. We should just celebrate that its coming back at all.

lisa902652, I never once claimed that I knew everything. Not that long ago when the set up was to open Love Never Dies in three cities at the same time, that it was going to open up on Broadway at The Neil Simon. At that time, Dirty Dancing was rumored to have been looking at that theatre as well.
Now this is the first time that I have heard anything with regards to RUG being willing to pay in part for Ragtime to move should it be a success. But, it does make sense. For all we know Ragtime can be a very successful revival that, regardless of what theatre it moves to, have a healthy run.

Ragtime will have to transfer to another thatre if it has strong sales. I thought the the Marquis Theatre was also a possibility.
