What time do people start arriving for opening night?

I'm seeing Exit the King on the 30th, the same evening as 9 to 5's opening night. I know 9 to 5 starts at 6:30, but what time do you think the arrivals begin? I kinda wanna snoop around and see who shows up.

If you want to catch everyone I suggest being there 1 hour earlier. This way you won't miss anyone, especially big wig friends of the principal cast who arrived super early for their pre-show backstage visits. Most people start arriving approximately 30 minutes before curtain time.

Have a great time and don't forget to take your camera.

Where would the "red carpet" be for the Marquis? Inside the hotel?

RentBoy86-it was inside the hotel for 'Cry Baby' (I know...but it was opening night I wasn't going to turn that down :) )

Outside the main entrance to the theatre they set up a kind of mini carpet and photos (between the escalators)
