We normally see 10 to 15 shows a year but due to the birth of my first grandchild we decided to take the season off.   Well we finally found time to spend a weekend in the city and we have the opportunity to see one show, which would you pick and why

Color Purple

School of Rock

Humans

On your Feet

While I have a preference, I can only narrow it down to two: Humans and The Color Purple --and The Color Purple would come out on top.....Erivo performance is incredible, and the show is rethought and vastly superior to the original. 

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

The Color Purple and if you have any room for a second, The Humans. Both are exquisite stories with powerhouse performances.

Cynthia has the best performance of several seasons, so she puts it on top.
