I would LOVE LOVE LOVE this. But it'd be a very hard story to be brought to the stage, but it has so much potential. It'd be hard to know where to cut it off. I think the best would be the Catherine Aragon/ Anne Boleyn/ Jane Seymour story. It'd be hard to do all 6 wives. I'd actually rather see a story about Henry rather than Other Boleyn Girl.
I did my college thesis on the Tudors. I have a sick, obsession with that family.

Posted: 4/20/11 at 10:23amI know revivals are frowned upon, but I'd love to see "Anne of the Thousand Days" revived. The script is so powerful (yes, I know the film is really a great adaptation, as well). But, it requires such strong actors in the two leads (Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII) that I'm not sure we have anyone of that magnitude to play those roles.
