A little over a month again 2 time Tony nominee/theatre veteran Susan Browning passed away.
She had a nice career on Broadway (http://www.ibdb.com/person.asp?ID=80068) Most famous for her wonderful creaton of April in Company.
But WHY did the Tonys not show her in their memoriam to the theater stars who passed away in this past season?
Very very very sad that she was forgotten.

Posted: 6/12/06 at 5:05pmI wondered the same thing about Don Knotts last year. All I can come up with is that she passed away in the current season and will be in the memoriam in 2007.

Posted: 6/12/06 at 6:08pmI certainly hope so, her rendition of "Barcelona" is in my opinion one of the most beautiful performances on a cast recording. My father told me she was superb as April in the original cast of Company. She should have been remembered, I certainly hope they do not forget about her next year. She's a Tony-nominee actress, I'm sure next year she'll be mentioned. At least it's good to know some of us still remember her.
