He was cast as Link in Hairspray but left prior to its opening in Seattle to make a movie, but I haven't heard or seen anything about his since. Does anyone have any info? Don't all answer at once now!!!

after backing out of a mega hit that made a star out of his replacement to make a movie that is nowhere to be seen, he probably crawled into a hole and hasn't come back out.

Too bad. He was a GREAT presence as Link in the readings of Hairspray. He had a certain self-aware quality that made Link hilarious.
