I just bought Thoroughly Modern Millie OBCR, it has been on repeat, and leaves me to wonder...

Why on earth didn't I get on the Millie-train sooner? It's great.

I have been listening to the song My new Philosophy a lot now even though i have never seen the revival or the original for that matter. Kristin Chenoweth's voice has such a range going from nasal to belt to opera she is really talented she also is a good dancer and plays the piano really well. Does anyone have any pics from when Cheno was in YAGMCB? or any clips the song is great but i need a visual! Thanks in advance!

Children of Eden. Glad I finally broke down and bought this CD..I'm really enjoying it. I wish now that I also had the London Cast recording...I hear it's even better that the original. Now if I can just see a stage production of this.

My current rotation includes: "Pardon My English", "Cabaret" (German cast f. Anna Montanaro), and "Sweet Smell of Success". Not much of a "similarly themed cds" kinda gal, I go more for the staples (one for the standards, one of the favorites, one for the performance). Although 'Wonderful Town' is sitting on my desk taunting me, so that'll likely get tossed in the purse this morning as well.

A special NBC's Showstoppers compilation a friend made for me...right now it's playing Louder Than Words from Tick, Tick Boom.

Of course, it also includes selections from Chicago, Rocky Horror, Urinetown, Fosse, Pippin, Sweet Charity, Evita, and Hello Dolly cast recordings, and the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas soundtrack.

I'm still waiting for the bonus track...
