it’s funny it’s ridiculous but most people liked it in Chicago
Is it coming to Broadway this season?

I did not see the show but it feels ideal for a nonprofit in the 2027-28 season.

The tricky thing about a star opening a new musical is they become hard to replace, and this has two stars. If Mullally and Offerman won’t commit to 9-12 months of perfs (and I don’t see why they would), sane investors will not want to go near this thing. And a ~$20 million musical cannot be a limited run.
