Welcome to La Cage Aux Folles. You meet your mistress, and your boy-friend, and your wife. Come and sip your Dubonnet in the nude.
All you Cagelles post your thoughts and reviews here.

La Cage is one of the best musicals in Broadway history? Really? It might be great fun, but it's not even in the top 10 or 20 of all-time.

Posted: 4/5/10 at 9:35pmPersonally I'm very excited. Everything I've seen of Doug Hodge in the role has been fabulous. Plus Veanne Cox AND Christine Andreas? What more could a gay want? My excitement dims slightly when I remember that Kelsey Gramcracker is playing Georges, but I'm sure he'll be fine.

I like the show very much, and will probably enjoy this production, too.
I'm interested in seeing if it will succeed financially, given that the last revival didn't, and it was very recent (as revivals go). I'd be happy to see it turn a profit, but am skeptical.
