Was just wondering if there's an official date yet, as I'm planning to book tickets for the end of July/first week of august and was wondering if they will still be there. I've searched the message board but couldn't find anything about dates.

I haven't seen an official announcement about Sutton leaving yet, but here is an article on Maureen's departure. It doesn't state a specific "end" date for her, but the Little Women tour that she's headlining is supposed to start performances August 30th:

I seriously doubt that they'll leave before the show closes. They can't do the show without Sutton and Maureen. That's not official but that's what I think.
If grosses don't pick up, they may leave when the show closes. I can't see how this one is going to make it through the summer months even with them in it.

Does anyone know how much money they need to take in to meet their weekly operating expenses? At what point does it become to expensive to even go week-to-week?
i don't think it will hold up without them either.
i am a HUGE sutton fan, and i really have only gone to see the show as much as i have to see her perform. i think she is fantastic in the part, and it's hard to see anyone taking over that role and really making it work. i can see this being much the same way with maureen.
i just hope that when/if the show closes, sutton moves into something else quickly so that we all have the opportunity to see and hear her!
I've seen both Sutton and her understudy, and boy did that shaky vehicle show it's flaws without her.
Let's be honest - the show displays its numerous flaws even with her in it.
I enjoyed it, flaws and all. Maureen and Sutton miraculously held it together--it's simply a dead stage without them.
as did i...but i definitley think i enjoyed it because of sutton and maureen. i would be super upset if i bought tickets in advance and got there to find that one or both of them were not there (hence why i love the $30 student seats, so i can go same day and ask before buying).
My prediction -- it's only holding on until the Tony's. I don't think it will win any of them and will probably close late mid- to late-June. If there weren't so many strong female performances this season, Sutton would probably win, but that still wouldn't be enough to keep the show going.
i'm still hoping for sutton to nab the tony. it's going to be tough, but i can definitley see her winning it.
I hope/expect that Sutton will win a best Leading Actress tony, but I definitely think that Maureen will get a best supporting Tony. She's phenominal.
I love this show, but I with the grosses they've had I can't imagine they'll stay open much longer.
