When do premium and house seats get released for general sale?

I was just wondering when do premium and house seats get thrown into the general sale pool. Day of show or earlier?

Depends. Usually a couple of days before better seats are released. Keep checking online for any seats that look like they could be considered premium (center orchestra seats).

I imagine it varies on circumstances and from theater to theater, but a general rule-of-thumb is 48 hours on house seats, 24 on premium.
