Every Musical will have it's High School Days.

Personally, i doubt high schools will be allowed to do RENT because of the profanity.

F-Word, Drugs, etc..

At Thespian Convention, they did this skit about cleaning up plays with this special machine to make it okay for high schools. They went through a few, and the last one was Rent. They had a guy come out with a guitar and strum it a few times, and that was the end of the skit.

I can't see it ever being done for high schools without messing it up, so high schools probably won't be even given the rights to do it. The parents in my school complained a LOT when we did Grease...there's no way would we ever do Rent.

Even if highschools were technically allowed to do it, I don't think many directors would let their drama club perform it.
