When will the New tkts booth be unveiled ?

I am sorry if it has been discussed recently, but I was really curious about it, since it looks that it will make my beloved Times Square prettier ! Does the New Year's Eve dateline still stand or was it moved for later on ? Honestly, I can't understand why it takes so long !

If you can't understand why it's taking so long, then perhaps you should visit the site and actually go look at what they're doing to it.

Right now it looks like a dug out, and the exterior looks like an ugly band shell thing. We'll see.

munk, you do know that I can't visit the site, so I trust your description ! I can only catch a glimpse through the Earthlink webcam ! What I meant, was that, having been to Duffy Square, I never would imagine that this not so big space would need 8 months and more to be ready, even if they had to tear it down completely and build it back up from scratch. At least that's what I think. But from your description, I understand that, there's no way for it to be ready until Dec. 31

I hadn't seen it, Dirty and it does answer my main question, so thank you very much ! Looks like they are on schedule. Can't wait to sit on those steps on my next visit to NYC Though, from those pictures, I still can't understand, how on earth this structure took such a long time !
