When will the leads depart South Pacific?

I know that the show has been extended and that the leads will be with the show past June. But just how far past June will that be? When will Paulo Szot depart?

I've got tickets for late October and I'm dying to see him.

Unless they end up taking a random hiatus then, they will definitely still be in it by October.

Will they be on through the end of November?

After all, I've heard they're on through fall and November's a fall month.

I ask because my star-loving friends who vacation in November, need to know.

I know Matt Morrison is contracted till January and I believe Kelli will also be in it, at least till then, but I think Paulo Szot has to leave around October, because of his opera commitments.

That's funny, because someone told me that Paulo was leaving at the end of June! That would be great if he stays for a while, I've been wanting to see the show badly.

In an interview on Playbill.com - read it this morning. Paulo states that he has cancelled opera dates to stay with the show. He did not give a date for leaving.

If Paulo wins the Tony, he will definitely stay longer. We'll have to see what happens...but besides him being up in the air, everyone else will be with the show come November.
