If you've been lucky enough to see the show, share where you laughed the HARDEST during "The Drowsy Chaperone."
No explaination needed. Just want to have a fun, light-hearted thread.
MYSELF:
"Monkey Monkey Monkey"
Vodka/Spit Routine
and lastly (trying not to be a spoiler)
I'll just say "Flashlight" and hope you know what I mean...

The Monkey Song for me also...specifically the part where the music starts to pick up and Bob Martin imitates Sutton going "no, no, no, no!" Hysterical.
I am a bit fuzzy, but the part where he "plays the wrong cd" and they perform the number...pure magic. and the monkey monkey dooooooo

I agree with Luckydave14- that The King and I piece was seriously funny (irony of ironies)!
Also, with the pastry-and-sweets word changes the conmen use. And Janet's "I Don't Want To Show Off" while drinking water.

"I don't wanna change keys no more..." in the encore. Too good. Also, gotta say that Beth's "while you can" repeat is amazing.
After the initial thought of "what the @#$% is happening here? I'm so confused!" I got a good laugh at The Man In Chair playing the wrong record!
On a side note- There was a women in the theater with us that was laughing so loud and so long at the part where he eats the power bar, that the entire theater actually started laughing at her. Even Bob Martin was making faces at her and trying not to laugh. She happened to be sitting next to me (of course) and I was laughing so hard at her that I literally started crying!

KELLIO: I LOVE it when that happens! I must say, I know EXACTLY what that woman feels like... I've been there done that soooo many times. I really really appreciate good humor and my laugh is SO distinctive, I fall victim to that "last/loud person laughing" in the theatre all the time.
I saw "Slava's Snowshow" last week and the clowns literally stopped mid-stride and stared me down because I couldn't stop laughing... my giggles are often delayed because I start to over-think the humor and it gets me GOING!
Alas, the joys of live theatre. You can't do that stuff in the movies!

oh gosh - so many funny spots:
Monkey, Monkey, Monkey (Bob Martin miming Sutton)
pastry chefs/gangsters twisting 'pastry' words
'I'm an accident waiting to happen'
and Bob Martin's one-liners - especially about Elton John - (and totally right-on)
This show is lotsa fun!

When the plane, loaded with practically the entire cast, "took off." (Somehow, I had not seen the scenery trick coming.)
The first monlogue in the dark. (Every thought was true.)
When Man In Chair was sitting next to Janet (Sutton Foster) asking her leading questions into her song: "What is your name?" "Do you need anyone?" etc. (Some friends and I have played that game for years.)
Aldolpho turning and whimpering "Help me."
The Chaperone's Bow
after her Number.
Every time Danny Burstein did his "What?" I died laughing. Literally. I'm typing this from beyond the grave. :)
I loved DROWSY. Best time I've had at a musical since WILD PARTY.
TT
The beginning of "Act II" and Adolpho's "WHHAATTT?"
The chaperones bow after her number, the "no! no! no!" in the monkey song and the little jump that aldolpho does after he tells the audience that he could sing his name slowly, "but it would take hours"...it's just this awful back attitude looking jump, and it kills me.
The opening lyrics of the Bride's Lament. I thought I was going to choke myself laughing!
Beginning of Act 2
Drowsy Chaperone's number- can I say that I love Beth Leavel with all of my heart?!
Bob Martin's many monologues and the imitation portion.

Definitely in love with the spit routine, so much that Eddie Corbich came out after and told me how funny *I* was and that in itself I found hilarious cause I honestly could not shut up during that scene. The worst is that you know what shes going to say and it is so repetitive but each time made me laugh harder. That whole show is just genius, so smart in such a ridiculous way
I think I mentioned these in another thread, but it's fun to put them all together.
"Antarctica... oh, please!"
The spit-take scene
Aldolfo's talk with Feldzeig about the groom being a "big man"
When the cast "suprises" Kitty at the end of the first act.
Also, the "skipping record" at the end of the first act.
(And I apoligize if any of these are not in the show still, but I saw it in LA)
THe whole spit take "you poop!"scene....as stupid as this was I actually could not stop laughing out loud....I am usually just a smiler at shows but this had me laughing so hard!! Also, "asian/caucasion" part was great. funniest characters = adolpho and man in the chair

I would have to say the "monkey" and the way Man in Chair was throughout the whole song.
All of Bob Martin's one liners and monologue in the dark.
The pastry chef, whenever they came out.
Danny Burnstein throughout the WHOLE show!
I laughed sooo hard throughout the whole show! Too many moments to count.
I laughed more at this show than I ever have.
I loved (cane crashes).. "while you can..."
Bob Martin is perfection.
The fact that the cast came out of the rifridgerator in the beginning.
The Drowsy Chaperone's entire solo.
There's even more that I can't remember. I have to see this show again. SOON.

"Who puts an olive.....in a Gibson" Chaperone line (in LA) killed me
EVERY Beth Leavel facial expression during "As We Stumble Along"
- When the Man in Chair plays around in the monkey song (Who are you? Do you need anyone? NO NO NO!)
- I am..ADOLPHO. Whaaaaaaaaaat?
- All the funny little pastry jokes (Now you're in truffle, one cannoli hope...)
The whole show was a hoot, but that part (someone already mentioned it) where Man in Chair imitates Janet, swaying and saying 'no, no, no' sent me into a fit of laughter.
