Hey everyone-

I was wondering if anyone knew what Tracie Thoms is doing? I mean, I haven't really heard much about her since RENT- is she doing Broadway now-? I think she'd be excellent in Broadway- I mean obviously- (anyone who has seen RENT the movie knows that girl can sing)

She was in The Devil Wears Prada, and I believe she has some other upcoming films.

She was a cast member up to end of the season. I'm not sure if she or the show is coming back but she had become a regular cast member.

I am pretty sure it has been renewed, because it actually shoots some of the external building shots outside of my office. I believe it comes back in September.

Girl can sing I actually like her Joanne better than anyone ever... at least of those I have seen.

i know she is going to be a movie descent with Rosario Dawson and Wilson-Jermaine Heredia. i am pretty sure but, i am not sure how big her part is.

And, according to IMDB she has three movies in various stages of production - It seems from the description that she has a large role in Jimmie:

Jimmie (2006) (pre-production)
Grind House (2007) (filming)
Descent (2006) (post-production)

She'll be in Cold Case again this season and it will be moving to 9 P.M. Sundays.

DESCENT is the title of a movie she is going to be in with Rosario and Wilson A reunion of sorts
