With the two sides back at the bargining table today... where is the most current site to go to for the latest news; where would it be posted if any news was released? I'm getting on a plane tomorrow to come to the east coast and have tickets for shows starting the 14th. Anxious to hear good news! ie: eveyone's happy and the shows go on! Thanks
I believe the best are Playbill.com and Broadway.com. BroadwayOnline.com used to be the best but after 2001 they fell apart and stopped doing news and I think they are gone now. Does anyone know what happened with BroadwayOnline.com?
Actually, The site your on, since it is comprehensive and gathers news from the web immediately, it is your best resource in case one site gets it before another. And with Broadway.com lately, you never know if their information is going to be correct.
No bitterness here, just some honesty. Naturally this would be a better site for all the theatre news, considering it's listing ALL the stories instead of prematurely announcing things that may or may not be correct.
I find broadway.com to be more a promotional site for tourists than a real news site like BWW or Playbill.

HEDWIG: "The road is my home. In reflecting upon the people whom I have come upon in my travels, I cannot help but think of the people who have come upon me."
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH!
